Prendergast crowned his Leinster debut by winning Man of the Match against the Lions, where he kicked a superb penalty in the dying minutes.
The Newbridge native kicked 14 points as Leinster clawed their way to a 39-36 URC victory against the Lions, a match played at altitude in Johannesburg.
The highly-rated out-half – who is the younger brother of Connacht forward Cian – starred for the Ireland U20s as they stormed to Grand Slam success in March 2023.
