With a few years of ITM Cup experience under his belt, Raaymakers joined the Blues for his first Super Rugby campaign in 2013. The strong ball carrier was a member of the New Zealand Under-20 team in 2010 and has a huge work rate on the field.
Raaymakers, who's an abrasive and uncompromising lock/loose forward, will don the Steelers jersey again, having re-signed with the Steelers in 2017 and hopes to reignite a career that was cruelly stalled by a serious shoulder injury suffered in a national provincial championship match against Wellington in September 2014.
