Muller represented his country at a number of age-group levels, including SA Schools and SA U21. A chain of impressive performances in the 2009 Varsity Cup shot him through the ranks of Western Province.
In 2011, due to lack lack of Super Rugby appearances, he decided to move to Kimberley, joining Griqualand West and the Cheetahs Super Rugby squad...He played in 11 games in Super Rugby.
2013 saw Muller join the Lions and spent most of the year struggling with an injury.
The lock had a impressive season in the 2015 Super Rugby competition and as a result extended his stay in Johannesburg.
A lineout specialist, Muller adds great value to any side with his high work-rate around the pitch and his clinical cleaning out of the rucks.
