Paul Marshall

26th Jul 1985 1.73m/79kg Scrum Half

Another product of the famed Methodist College conveyor belt. After impressive performances for the Ulster academy side, Marshall signed his first professional deal at the beginning of the 2006/2007 season.

The Lisburn man is a scrum half who possesses great pace and likes nothing more than to make the sniping runs for which he is famous.

He’s captained Ulster U20s and played for Ireland’s U21, and made his full Ireland debut against Italy in 2013.

Paul’s livewire style, speed of hand and foot, and his penchant for scoring vital opportunist tries has ensured he remains a constant in the match-day squad.

In April 2018, after 204 caps for Ulster Rugby, scoring 24 tries, Marshall announced that he would retire from rugby at the end of the season.
