- 2049
Stade Toulousain have confirmed the departures of Yoann Maestri, who joins La Rochelle, and Jean-Marc Doussain, at the end of the season.
While their respective contracts end in June 2018, Jean-Marc Doussain and Yoann Maestri will not extend and leave Stade Toulousain at the end of the current season.
" We had a long talk with Jean-Marc and Yoann during many meetings," said Didier Lacroix, chairman of the Toulouse executive board. "We have not reached an agreement, and they will represent another club next season."
According to French publication L'Équipe, Doussain is in advanced talks with Lyon, while Yoann Maestri has already signed a deal with La Rochelle.
Maestri has spent 9 years at Toulouse and has represented France 59 times, winning 2 Top 14 titles and a European Cup.
Doussain will leave the club that he started his professional career with in 2009. The 17 Test cap international also won two championship titles (2011 and 2012) and a Cup of Europe (2010).
