WRAP UP: U20 Six Nations Round Two

England, Ireland and France were all successful in round two of the Six Nations claiming victories over Scotland, Wales and Itlay respectively.

England edged through a hard-fought encounter, for the second week running, as they overcame a battling Scotland side 21-17 at Myreside to keep their title hopes intact.

Meanwhile, Ireland's Mark Hernan grabbed a brace as Ireland kept their hopes of securing back-to-back Grand Slams well on track with a pulsating 36-22 bonus-point victory over Wales..

France recovered from a slow start to secure a 31-19 victory over Italy and seal their first win of this year’s Under-20s Six Nations Championship after falling to England last week.

Scotland showed plenty of muscle and creativity to swing the game back in their favour through a penalty try but having defended doggedly, England sealed the win through Connor Doherty’s late score.

Italy, meanwhile, were out to make it two wins from two after enjoying a 17-7 win over Wales in their first game but they were outclassed by France in the end as a converted Yann Peysson effort saw France home.

Ireland's Hernan book-ended the first half by twice powering over the whitewash, while Dan Kelly and Lewis Finlay dotted down in between to claim the four-try bonus point by the interval.
 
 

Wales threatened a comeback after the break as they earned a penalty try and Osian Knott added to his first-half score with a second try but Andrew Smith’s effort helped seal the home victory.
