Blues prop Ofa Tu'ungafasi's has been in stellar form during the Super Rugby Aotearoa for the Blues with the 28-year-old making a strong case to become the All Blacks' starting tighthead prop.
Tu'ungafasi has featured in all of the Blues' games so far in the competition and has been a standout in the scrum and around the park.
Part of the Blues' early success saw the side dominate upfront with Tu'ungafasi playing a big part in their success. It hasn't only been Tu'ungafasi's dominance in the set pieces which has seen him impress over the weeks with his defence taking centre stage as well. The tighthead is used to making headlines for his big hits and has done so with both the All Blacks and Blues.
He has continued this trend with this big hit on Aaron Cruden in the win over Chiefs.

This hit on Cruden followed his big hit on Highlanders' rookie Sam Gilbert in round three of the competition.
In 2017, Tu'ungafasi delivered this crunching hit to the ribs of Wallabies flyhalf Bernard Foley during the Bledisloe Cup.
