The Brumbies kicked off their season with a big victory away from home in their first encounter of the season. The Brumbies led 17-3 at the break and added another 13 points in the second half to secure the 30-3 victory.

Corey Toole
A stunning solo run and a chip kick resulted in a try for the highlights. He gained a total of 124 metres in the encounter, beating 2 defenders with 12 carries. He also scored two tries in the 3rd and 16th minute to help the Brumbies build an early lead over the Rebels.
Charlie Cale
An eighthman that gassed a winger to score a brilliant try after tapping the ball through and collecting it to score in the corner. Cale scored in the 53rd and 77th minute to exend the lead for the Brumbies. Cale made a total of 45 metress, with 2 line breaks, 12 carries and 14 defensive tackles.
Andrew Kellaway
Although on the losing side, Kellaway was dangeros on attack, gaining the most metres in the encounter and beating the second highest (6) amount of defenders. His whopping 17 carries was also the highest by any player on the park.
Taniela Tupou
He was extremely dangerous with ball in hand knocking defenders to the ground and offloading to his teammates. He made 27 metres beating 2 defenders with 8 massive carries before hurting himself in the encounter.
Noah Lolesio
He became insturmental in the Brumbies attack assisting with tries and attacking the gain line. He managed a total of 118 metres with 2 line breaks beating 3 defenders.
