Another heroic European performance for the Munster back-rower, Stander drove his team forward and led from the front. His bullish carries and physicality caused the Racing defence constant problems.

Stander collected his third MOTM award in the pool stages, a phenomenal feat. Making 18 carries for a gain of 57 metres and making 9 tackles for his team.

CJ was outstanding in the reverse fixture in Paris two weeks ago, his ball carrying provided Munster with fresh impetus when the game was in the balance in the first half. Without doubt, the form back-row on the continent.

Andrew Conway

Conway showed his all round attributes in a complete performance, running smart lines in attack, competing in the air at every opportunity and putting in a large shift in defence making 5 tackles.

The Munster wing created the pivotal try of the game as he fended off Brice Dulin on the outside before offloading inside to send Keatley crashing through to secure the home quarter final for the Irish province.

Conway has stepped up his game in recent times with an outside chance of securing a spot in Joe Schmidt's 6 Nations squad.

The French centre was impressive in midfield throughout the contest. He brought his side back into the game wih a fine solo effort, receiving an inside pass from Teddy Thomas before crashing through 4 Munster players to score Racing 92 only try of the game.
