Top 14 Wrap & Tries of the Weekend

RC Toulon vs La Rochelle

Toulon came away with the win from their clash against a strong La Rochelle side.

With two tries apiece, Anthony Belleau's kicking off the tee proved to be the deciding factor on the scoreboard for the home side.

The scoreboard fairly represents the performance of both sides today.

La Rochelle put in a particularly strong shift in the second half given the scoreline was 20 - 6 at halftime.

Second half tries from Victor Vito and Brock James saw the visiting side close the gap but their efforts were not quite enough to get the win this afternoon.

Toulouse vs Agen

Toulouse came away with a 20 point victory in what was a gritty game at Stade Ernest Wallon.

The sides traded penalties early on until a Fickou try just before half-time put some considerable daylight between the teams at the break.

A Toulouse penalty try in the second half made it a huge task for Agen but they struck back in the 73rd minute only for a Late Toulouse try from Kolbe to snuff out any hope of a victory. Full-time score: 30-10

Montpellier vs Brive

Montpellier continued their fine start to the season as they smashed Brive 54-10 at home.
