Scotland make 10 changes to face Chile

Scotland will be led by Sione Tuipulotu and Jamie Ritchie in the third Skyscanner Americas tour match against Chile this coming Saturday 20 July at Estadio Nacional in Santiago, kick-off 8pm (BST).

The duo are two of five players retained form the starting line-up that defeated USA 42-7 last weekend in Washington DC, with Kyle Rowe, Kyle Steyn and Alex Craig also selected for back-to-back Test matches.

Ritchie lines up at openside flanker in a back row also containing blindside Gregor Brown, who debuted in the tour opener against Canada, and Josh Bayliss, who comes in at number 8.

Craig starts in the second row and is this time joined by Ewan Johnson, who makes a first Scotland start having come off the bench in that week one win in Ottawa.

Props Nathan McBeth (loosehead) and Will Hurd (tighthead) also earn a first international start and will pack down with hooker Dylan Richardson in the front row.

In the back division, Kyle Rowe features at full-back for consecutive Tests, with Jamie Dobie and Arron Reed, the latter having scored a try brace on his first Scotland outing in Ottawa, the chosen wingers.

Co-captain Tuipulotu forms a centre partnership with vice-captain Kyle Steyn, who switches from the wing for the penultimate match of the tour.

A fresh half-back pairing sees Ben Healy selected at stand-off and Gus Warr, a double try-scorer on debut against Canada, named at scrum-half.

Patrick Harrison is primed for a Scotland debut, the hooker listed as one of five forward replacements alongside props Pierre Schoeman and Javan Sebastian, second row Max Williamson and flanker Rory Darge.

The matchday 23 is completed by the versatile trio of Adam Hastings, Stafford McDowall and Matt Currie, all of whom started in wins over either Canada or USA in the first two tour fixtures.
