Scotland injury update

Scotland have suffered a significant blow with the news that workhorse flanker Jamie Ritchie has been ruled out of their Round 2 clash with Wales in Cardiff.

Ritchie left the field during the second half of the match and it has been confirmed that he has sustained damage to his hamstring.

A statement from SRU reads as follows:

“Jamie Ritchie and Josh Bayliss have not met up with the squad this week through injury. Dave Cherry [hooker] has joined up with the team today.”
