Welsh fly-half Dan Jones is set to sign for ambitious English championship club Ealing Trailfinders after getting released by the Scarlets
The 28-year-old is a heavily respected professional having made 153 appearances for the Scarlets, scoring 682 points, while he played a pivotal role in the west Walians' PRO12 title win in 2017. Jones became a victim of the financial constraints in Welsh rugby and was recently released by the Scarlets who have Wales internationals Sam Costelow and Ioan Lloyd on their books.
Jones looked set to drop down to play in the newly-formed Super Rygbi Cymru but has been given a lifeline by ambitious English Championship winners Ealing.
