To think that I did not really want to be captain when Warren Gatland first asked me four years ago and then I’m told that on Saturday I will equal Ryan Jones’ record of 33 Tests as captain of Wales.
Coming fast on the heels of my 50th cap against England it is another huge honour, especially as I have always admired Ryan so much and I will always be grateful for the way in which he helped me when I was first made captain.
