Sale Sharks circle Worcester at the AJ Bell

After their narrow 22-19 victory over Gloucester in Round 5, Sale return home to host Worcester Warriors at the AJ Bell.

Sale have been in decent form during the current campaign, finding themselves at third spot on the log with three victories from their five outings. Their losses occurred against a rampant Newcastle Falcons side in Round 2 and then against Wasps in Round 4.

Their last result was a narrow, 22-19 victory against Gloucester at Kingsholm.

Worcester Warriors are struggling so far, having posted only a solitary victory in their five outings, and find themselves at the bottom of the table. Their Round 5 fixture with Harlequins was called off, leaving them to carry their Round 4, 29-10 loss to Northampton Saints result into this fixture.

However, Worcester will take at least some comfort in the fact that they had the better of Sale the last time the teams locked horns during the 2019-20 instalment which ended in a 20-13 victory for them at Sixways.
