PRO14 Round 2 Highlights: Ospreys v Cheetahs
- 986
In a game that was anticipated to be a one sided game, the Cheetahs did well in the opening minutes of the game to stay in the contest. However, they will have their set pieces and discipline to blame as they conceded more than 4 tries from the maul. Scrum penalties also gave the home side the necessary boost as they would just manage to kick to the corner and maul over. This was the order of the day as the following forwards managed to cross over: Alun-wyn Jones x 2, Justin Tipuric x 2, RhoriJones, Alex Jefferies. This meant that the Ospreys would win convincingly (46-14).
However the Cheetahs will have some positives to take out the game as they managed to score a brilliant try through Sibahle "Rabz" Maxwane. With the Currie Cup side struggle against the Lions earlier it will be very hard to see the Cheetahs improve throughout the season, even more so that they have lost their Captain Oupa Mohoje through injury for the rest of the seasson.
