Premiership Rugby Highlights: Bath v Bristol Bears
- 1365
The Bristol Bears did the Premiership double over Bath with a 19-13 away win in round 12. Bristol got off to the perfect start with an early try, but Bath pulled three points back with a penalty shortly after. A second Bristol try saw them up 12-3, but they then picked up a yellow card. Bath failed to capitalize on their numerical advantage, but would add a late first half penalty to head into the break trailing 12-6. The war of attrition continued in the second half, with neither side able to gain the ascendancy. Bristol would take control of the match with their third try with a little under 20 minutes remaining to lead 19-6. Bath needed a response and hit back immediately with their first try to reduce the deficit to six points with around 15 minutes to play. That would be where the come back ended as a stout Bears defence kept the home side out for a six point victory.
