Bath Rugby 17-21 Gloucester Rugby

Two tries from Matias Alemanno helped Gloucester Rugby edge a West Country derby against Bath Rugby as they came away with a 21-17 win at the Rec.

The Argentina lock got over at the start and end of a first half that was dominated by the Cherry & Whites as they led 21-7 at the break.

After the break, Bath hookers Tom Dunn and Niall Annett struck back to cut the deficit to four points, but they could never quite find the solution to win the game.

Leicester Tigers 16-26 Sale Sharks

Sale Sharks remain unbeaten after producing a second-half fightback to down defending champions Leicester Tigers 16-26.

Tom Curry and Raffi Quirke both dotted down after the break to turn the tables at Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium.

Freddie Burns’ boot and a Jasper Wiese score had given the Tigers four-point lead at the interval, but they were left stunned by an impressive recovery by the Sharks.

Newcastle Falcons 14-34 Saracens

A late rally was not enough for Newcastle Falcons as unbeaten Saracens continued to set the pace at the top of the Gallagher Premiership, taking all five points on Sunday at Kingston Park Stadium.

Saracens led 26-0 at half-time having raced into the lead as early as the third minute when winger Alex Lewington grounded an unconverted try in the left corner, chasing a grubber kick in behind the defensive line.

Wasps 36-40 Northampton Saints

Northampton Saints scored two tries in the final two minutes to steal a victory at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
