Premiership Highlights: Northampton Saints v Saracens

The Northampton Saints were looking for a good start as they looked to turn around the last couple of results against the Saracens. Howeveer, the Saracens were not going to give up easily. Th first half had very little to seperate the two sides as they went into the break 10-all. Through constant pressure in the Saracens 22, Jamie George was sent to the bin in the 14th minute and this gave the Saints an advanntage. They managed to capitalise through a Piers Francis try. Dan Biggar than converted and followed that with the penalty. The Saracens were able to reply through two Alex Lewington tries which were uncoverted. The second half saw 45 points being scored as both sides looked to assert their dominace. From the home side they managed to score 2 tries and a penalty conversion while they still had hope. Whatever the Saints threw at the Sarries, the Sarries looked to throw back as they managed to three tries including another brace from David Strettle. They also had two penalty conversion to keep the scoreboard ticking as they began to mount on serious pressure in the 3rd quarter of the game.
The Saracens secure a 38-27 victory.
