Ollivon demands Toulon focus

RC Toulon captain Charles Ollivon urged his side to keep focused as they target EPCR Challenge Cup glory.
Toulon will play fellow TOP 14 side Lyon in the final after defeating Saracens 25-16 in front of a passionate Stade Félix Mayol crowd, but Ollivon says they cannot let the emotions of that victory derail their preparations.
The flanker said: “Now we also have to keep a cool head and continue to move forward on our path as we have been doing for several weeks.
“I think our mindset has changed. Regardless of the competitions, we have been effective.
Here, there and everywhere! 🤯

“For several weeks, everyone has been involved, assuming their responsibilities, and pulling the group up.
“We have had his competition in the viewfinder, but we have not won anything yet.”
But while they must not be complacent about the final, Ollivon insisted Toulon, who reached the showpiece game for a fourth time, could still reflect on a semi-final job well done.
He said: “Tonight will remain a special moment because of the audience, the opponent, our state of mind.
“There are a lot of things that make it a great night for the club. There is a lot of pride, for everyone, in the work accomplished.”
