Barnstorming Leicester winger Nemani Nadolo has signed a new deal which will see him turn out in Super Rugby in the colours of his old team, the Waratahs.
Nadolo was born in Fiji and raised in Brisbane. In 2009 he joined the Waratahs ranks but was overlooked the following year, prompting a move to Bourgoin. Since then, Nadolo has represented Exeter Chiefs, NEC Green Rockets, the Crusaders and Montpellier.
In the Leicester jersey, Nadolo has notched up a total of 33 appearances, yielding 15 tries.
“He can do things that I have not seen before,” said Leicester boss Steve Borthwick.
“The ability to catch balls one-handed, to pick balls up to carry. The other thing you don’t see that he’s brilliant at is jackaling [for] the ball on the floor as well. Now, how? When you’re 6ft 5in, I don’t know. But he can. So, [I’m] privileged to work with him. And very grateful to him and he continues to keep doing all the work he does, over and above what normally people don’t see to get himself right.”
