Munster Trio Sign Contract Extensions

Munster Rugby and the IRFU have confirmed contract extensions for Andrew Conway, Jack Crowley and Jack O’Donoghue.

The trio have all signed two-year contract extensions that will see them remain with the province until at least June 2025.

In his 10th season with the province, Andrew Conway has yet to feature in this season’s campaign as he recovers from a knee injury that has kept him sidelined since June.

The 31-year-old flyer has made 149 appearances in red, scoring 49 tries, while on the international front his strike-rate has seen him score 15 tries in 30 appearances for Ireland.

Last season’s Men’s Player of the Year, Jack O’Donoghue is the only player to feature in every game so far this season.

The 28-year-old back row has made 174 provincial appearances, scoring 24 tries, while he has two Ireland caps to his name.

Jack Crowley’s rise continues after recently making his Ireland debut against Fiji in the Bank of Ireland Nations Series. He was also part of the Emerging Ireland team that enjoyed success in South Africa at the beginning of the season.

The 22-year-old has made 22 appearances for the province and in recent games has featured across the backline at out-half, full back, and in midfield.

John Ryan will depart the province at the end of January on completion of his short-term contract.

While the province offered John a contract extension, the tighthead prop will pursue an opportunity elsewhere for the remainder of the season.
