Jono Gibbes named as new Waikato Mitre 10 Cup coach
Former Waikato captain Jono Gibbes has been appointed as the new head coach of Waikato for the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup.
Gibbes, 41, will return to New Zealand at the conclusion of the PRO 14 season in Europe, where he is currently the head coach of Ulster. Full story
Whiteley set to sign a Springbok contract
According to reports Lions captain, Warren Whiteley is set to become the first player to be rewarded with a national contract by new Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus.
Whiteley has been played and captained the Boks without one, but according to Rapport, Erasmus is keen to keep the No 8 in South Africa. Full story

Bulls touring squad to Australasia
The Bulls have announced a 27-man touring squad for the Australasian leg of their Super Rugby campaign, including 15 forwards and 12 backs.
The team will first travel to Brisbane to take on the Queensland Reds, before heading to New Zealand to take on the Chiefs and finally Christchurch. Full Squad

Richie Mo'unga fractures his jaw against the Stormers
Salmaan Moerat will join the Stormers squad for the final match of their tour against the Highlanders in Dunedin on Friday.

Blues skipper and senior halfback Augustine Pulu has been forced out of the two-game tour to South Africa.
