Saracens & Racing 92 into Champions Cup Final


Saracens have beaten Wasps and will progress to European Champions Cup final with Racing into their first top-tier European final in Lyon on May 14.

"It's an amazing achievement. This competition was a big part of the reason I wanted to come and play in France. We knew it would come down to the last minute because Leicester are a quality side, very fit," commented Racing 92 fly-half Dan Carter.

Looking back on the game, Saracens director of Rugby Mark McCall said: "Our scrum was dominant both on our put-in but also when they had the ball, and our defensive line-out was outstanding.

"There were times when we could have got a bit frustrated, but we were really composed and able to combine that with unbelievable energy and physicality."


Sunwolves secure first win in Super Rugby



After he enduring a torrid first season in Super Rugby, with last week’s 92-17 humiliation by the Cheetahs, Sunwolves beat Jaguares 36-28 for a historic Super Rugby win.

“To get this historic win in Japan is very special,” Sunwolves captain Shota Horie told reporters.


“We had to try to forget what happened in our last game and put everything on the line today and luckily we did that.”


Denver make it 2 wins from Pro Rugby





Denver beat Ohio 16-13 in an overtime thriller in PRO Rugby’s opening day, and went on to become victorious in their 35-18 win over San Francisco - putting them on top of the log.



Montpellier & Harlequins in Challenge Cup



Montpellier set-up a deciding clash with Harlequins in the Challenge Cup final in Lyon next month after powering past the Dragons 22-12 at the Altrad Stadium. 


Their upcoming game in Lyon on May 13th will determine which team dominates on top and wins the cup — and earns an automatic ticket into next season’s Champions Cup.
