Bath Rugby confirm signing of James Wilson

Bath Rugby has confirmed the signing of James Wilson, who has joined the Club on a three-month contract.

The hugely experienced and versatile New Zealander made 95 appearances during a five-year spell with Northampton Saints, which coincided with the Club winning its first Premiership title in 2013-14.

Worcester Warriors sign USA flanker Andrew Durutalo


Worcester Warriors have strengthened their options in the back row with the signing of USA international Andrew Durutalo.


The 29-year-old has 19 international appearances under his belt, crossing the whitewash on four occasions, and represented the USA Eagles at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.


WRU change selection policy for players abroad

The Welsh Rugby Union has today announced it is changing their Senior Players Selection Policy, known to many as Gatland's Law.

Under the stewardship of the New Zealander, Wales have only been able to pick three overseas based players for Test duty, while it was set to increase to four players for the upcoming season.

The announcement made today sees Wales follow a similar structure to Australia where players who have made 60 Test appearances or more will be available for selection, regardless of where they play their club rugby.

Dave Dennis ruled out for the rest of 2017

Exeter Chiefs Australian forward Dave Dennis has been ruled out for 10-12 weeks after injuring his bicep in training.

"He's got a relatively serious injury, he's had an operation. He's likely to be out for 10-12 weeks," said Exeter boss Rob Baxter.

The 31-year-old, who is in his second season with the Chiefs, scored a try in the win against Wasps last month.

Alan Solomons joins Worcester Warriors as assistant coach

Worcester Warriors have announced that Alan Solomons has joined the Club on a short-term basis to assist Director of Rugby Gary Gold.

67-year old Solomons has amassed a wealth of coaching experience over the last 20 years, overseeing clubs including Ulster Rugby, Southern Kings and Edinburgh Rugby.

Sharks blow as Jeremy Ward ruled out for season

The Sharks have been dealt a blow with the news that centre Jeremy Ward has been ruled out for the remainder of the year with a broken collar bone.

Coach Robert du Preez confirmed the news on Saturday following his side's 31-20 loss to Western Province at Kings Park.
