Maxime Medard to hang up his boots

Former French international fullback Maxime Medard has called time on a distinguished career. 

Medard, 35, amassed a total of 315 caps for Toulouse and 63 for Les Bleus. 

"I am here to announce the end of a chapter: I have taken the decision to end my career at the end of the season," he posted on social media. 

"I have had incredible luck throughout my career to live through some unbelievable moments with Toulouse and France. 

"Moments of glory and doubt, victories and defeats, but I have no regrets."
