Lyon topple Glasgow in hard-fought contest

A strong finish saw Lyon claim a 35-27 home win over the Glasgow Warriors in the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup.
Lyon opened the scoring with a penalty just a minute in, but Glasgow hit back with the game's first try to lead 7-3.
Lyon pulled three points back with a penalty, but the Warriors kept the scoreboard ticking over, slotting two kicks at goal to make it 13-6.
Lyon scored a try five minutes from halftime to draw level, but a Glasgow score with the final play of the first half saw them up 20-13 at the break.
The Warriors were awarded a penalty try nine minutes into the second half to take control at 27-13, with Lyon picking up a yellow card in the process.
However, shortly after Glasgow were also down to 14 players after receiving a yellow card of their own.
This sparked Lyon into life and they ran in two quick tries to slash the deficit to just two points.
Lyon edged ahead with a penalty after 71 minutes and a converted try with around five minutes remaining sealed the victory which saw them advance to the Challenge Cup semi-finals where they will host Wasps.
