Kintetsu Liners' Manie Libbok Suffers first loss in 203 days
Kintetsu Liners' fly-half Manie Libbok's 13 game winning streak was ended by Kamaishi Seawaves on Saturday.
Springboks star Libbok (28) who won the Rugby World Cup in 2023, was on an unbeaten run for his club, which started in September 2025.
Libbok tasted defeat against Australia in The Rugby Championship on August 16 when he started in the no. 10 jersey.
Next he appearead in the match, coming off the bench and adding 13 points when South Africa versed New Zealand. That victory was the beginning of a 13 week winning streak.
Libbok recorded seven consecutive wins with South Africa to see out 2025 before moving to Japan.
