Ihaia West ruled out for four weeks with an ankle injury

The Blues will be without fly-half Ihia West following an ankle injury that he sustained in the win over the Western Force on Saturday.

West has scored 49 points for the Blues so far this season and has recently been used off of the bench by head coach Tana Umaga.

Bryn Gatland has been called in to replace West and will provide cover for first choice pivot, Piers Francis against the Highlanders this weekend
