Highlights: Munster Rugby v Cardiff Blues

Munster ran out 39-16 victors over Cardiff in this afternoon's Guinness PRO14 clash at Thomond Park. Both sides got off to impressive starts; Munster scoring a converted try after 13 minutes while Cardiff's Jarod Evans slotted two penalties. They exchanged scores for the remainder of the first half leaving the score at the break at 16-13 to Cardiff. In the second half however, Munster's class began to become apparent. They scored four tries, one for John Ryan, one for Robin Copeland and two for substitute JJ Hanrahan who made a really impressive cameo appearance today. Cardiff failed to score a single point in the second half and will be bitterly disappointed to have been so comprehensively beaten.
