Team News | Gloucester Rugby v Newcastle Falcons

The Gloucester Rugby team to take on Newcastle Falcons tomorrow afternoon at Kingsholm in the final game of the first block of Gallagher premiership fixtures this season has been announced.

The starting side includes all five players who were called up to Warren Gatland's Wales squad this week and returns for Christian Wade and Gareth Anscombe, who missed last weekend's trip to Leicester with minor injuries.

Up front Val Rapava-Ruskin and Afo Fasogbon come in to sure up the scrum, with Jack Singleton retaining the number 2 shirt.

Arthur Clark and Freddie Thomas continue their impressive partnership in the second row, with Jack Clement, Lewis Ludlow and Zach Mercer combining as the loose trio.

Tomos Williams starts inside the returning Anscombe, with Charlie Atkinson taking up position next to Max Llewellyn, who scored a hat-trick last weekend, in midfield.

In the back three, Ollie Thorley and Christian Wade come in on the wings, with Josh Hathaway relocating to full back in the absence of Santi Carreras.

On the bench, Seb Blake, Jamal Ford-Robinson, Ciaran Knight, Matias Alemanno and Harry Taylor cover the forwards, with Caolan Englefield, Louis Hillman-Cooper and Ioan Jones as the backs replacements.
