The Ospreys announced today that Garyn Phillips had signed a new deal to remain with the club.
Phillips has already made 48 appearances for the Ospreys and was rewarded for his form last season when he was called up to the Wales squad for 2025 Quilter Nations Series.
The prop is a powerful ball carrier in the loose and his work in the set piece has continued to improve since his first Ospreys appearance in the 2020/21 season.
Speaking on his new deal, Phillips said: “This club means a lot to me and it’s great to have the opportunity to continue my career with the team that I made my professional debut for.
“Some of my best mates play for the Ospreys and I will always remember coming through the ranks with them. I’m looking forward to continuing to improve here and getting as much time in the jersey as I can.”
Head Coach, Mark Jones, said: “Garyn has become a hugely important part of our squad, and we see him as a player with the potential to represent club and country for years to come.
“He is one of many quality front rowers that the club has produced, and that is credit to Duncan and the rest of our coaching staff, who’s diligence and detail is apparent in every prop and hooker that represent us on a gameday.”
