Ford shines as Leicester power past Exeter

The Tigers delighted their fans yesterday by igniting their 2021-22 campaign with a victory over competition giants, Exeter.
Leicester were beautifully managed by flyhalf George Ford who controlled the game with aplomb.
The 28 year-old appears to have recovered well from the calf injury which kept him out of action when England took on the USA and Canada but his performance this weekend will definitely have caught Eddie Jones’ attention.
"George Ford for me controlled that game for large parts of it. It was great to see him back fit and performing as well as that," said Tigers coach Steve Borthwick.
"You can see by the way he played the sharpness he had in his game. He's only going to get better and better. I watch him on the training field and he's sharp. He controlled that game brilliantly."
