Foley in doubt for Crusaders clash

Bernard Foley is in doubt to take on the Crusaders, after some symptoms from his head knock returned post the game against the Rebels.   

Foley was medically cleared to play and passed all return to play protocols for round five, however symptoms that were gone have returned.   

As a result, the medical team are undertaking additional treatments meaning the NSW Waratahs fly-half in doubt to play for round six.   

Head Coach Daryl Gibson said, “Bernard’s welfare is our priority right now and our medical team are taking an active treatment process to manage his symptoms.   

“We will follow the medical advice and he will undergo further testing and treatment prior to any decisions being made about him returning to playing,” said Gibson.
