Faletau to make Dragons return?
- 2004
According to a report by Walesonline Taulupe Faletau is looking to return to Wales and re-join his former club Dragons.
The report states that he has given Bath notice that he will be leaving the club at the end of next season.
The Wales and Lions superstar has a year remaining on his deal with the Premiership outfit but will turn down an option to extend his contract.
Dragons hoped to get the powerful loose forward back at the end of this campaign but have been put off by a £500,000 price tag.
If Dragons secured his signature they would possess one of the best back-rows in European rugby with fellow Lion Ross Moriarty and talented youngster Ollie Griffiths in their ranks.
Dragons are privileged that they will be able to have first call on signing Faletau if he chooses to dismiss interest from French clubs Toulon and Toulouse because it is his region of origin.
