England Women team announcement v South Africa

England coach Simon Middleton has named his team for the Rugby World Cup 2021 Pool C match against South Africa at Waitakere Stadium on 23 October.
Marlie Packer captains England for the first time and is one of only two players retained in the starting line-up for their final Pool C match with South Africa in Auckland on 23 October.
Connie Powell, Hannah Botterman and Maud Muir form a new front row and all make their first Rugby World Cup starts
Rosie Galligan will make her first appearance of RWC 2021 in the second row alongside Cath O’Donnell, who has come off the bench twice in New Zealand
Morwenna Talling makes her RWC debut and her first test start at flanker, her two previous starts having come in the second row – the last of those in November 2020
Poppy Cleall starts at RWC 2021 for the first time and will play her 60th test for the Red Roses.
