After finally ending their five match losing run with a win over Samoa last weekend, England will finish their November series against the Wallabies. looking to defeat one of the Southern Hemisphere sides after losing to South Africa and New Zealand this month. As for Australia they go into this game on the back of consecutive defeats to France and Ireland and recently appointed Michael Cheika. will be hoping to finish this November series with a win at Twickenham on Saturday.


England’s record against Australia is a lot better than the other two giants of the Southern Hemisphere where they have won six of the last 14 games between these two sides. The last time these two sides met at Twickenham was in last years November series where England were triumphant in a 20-13 win thanks to tries from Chris Robshaw and Owen Farrell. These two sides have had some great battles over the years and few English fans will forget the World Cup Final in 2003 when they lifted the Webb Ellis Cup for the first time thanks to a drop goal in the last minute of extra time from Jonny Wilkinson.


In teams news England make three changes from the side that defeated Samoa last weekend. Stuart Lancaster makes one change in the backline with Billy Twelvetrees coming into the side with Owen Farrell dropping out of the starting XV after some disappointing performances this November. The other two changes comes in the forwards with Dylan Hartley and Tom Wood returning to the side with Webber and Haskell dropping to the bench.

As for Australia they make two changes from the side that lost out to Ireland in Dublin last Saturday. In the backline Tevita Kuridrani has failed to recover from the groin injury that he suffered against Ireland and is left out of the matchday squad. Rob Horne takes his place in the backline and will start on the wing with Adam Ashley-Cooper moving into the centre. The other change comes into the forwards where Sean McMahon comes into the side for only his second appearance in a Wallabies jersey with Luke Jones dropping out of the starting XV.

Saturday couldn’t come any sooner in what is expected to be a thrilling game between these two sides. England will look to end their November series with a win, with the Australians standing in their way in what is the final game these two sides will play against each other before they meet at the World Cup next year.
