England Squad | Winners & Losers

Steve Bortwick has named his 2025 Six Nations squad. Here are our Winners & Losers from the announcement

Winners:

Uncapped Players:

Oscar Beard and Cadan Murley (Both Harlequins) are the only two players who are in the squad that are uncapped. 

Maro Itoje:

While being a bit of a no brainer it has come as a surprise that Itoje has been named Captain. He is a niled on starter week in and week out and has shown his leadership ability for both Saracens and England.

Losers:

Ben Spencer:

Spencer falls out of the squad entirely for JAck van Poortvliet. Spencer has been one of the form 9's in the Premiership and a big reason why Bath are top of the table.

Beno Obano:

You feel Obano would get another chance with England espeically on his current form

Henry Pollock 

At only 20 years old, Pollock has set the Premiership alight and is due a test cap sooner rather than later.
