England on red alert to wear away kit at Rugby World Cup opener against Fiji at Twickenham

They are supposed to enjoy home advantage at the Rugby World Cup, but England could be forced to kick off the tournament in their away kit and use the visitors’ dressing room for all their matches.

Despite being the host nation, Stuart Lancaster’s men may be prevented from wearing white in the opening game against Fiji following a random draw conducted by competition organisers.

The Pacific islanders’ home strip is also white but they are not automatically designated as the ‘away’ team for the Twickenham showdown under Rugby World Cup Ltd regulations.
