England need Steffon Armitage to play in the World Cup

Now the emotion of the Six Nations has ebbed and the clamour lessened, we can look at where England stand in relation to the Rugby World Cup 2015.

They are probably 12 months short of where they want to be in a perfect world, so they have to look at what can be improved to give them the best chance of winning and supplementing what is undoubtedly the advantage of playing at home.

At centre it looks as though Manu Tuilagi will not play for the rest of the season and with that probably goes his chances of playing in September.
