Demba Bamba signs with Racing 92

France prop, Demba Bamba will join Racing 92 from Lyon next season. The Paris-based Top 14 club announced on Wednesday that Bamba will be joining his French teammates Ibrahim Diallo, Hassane Kolingar, Jordan Joseph and Cameron Woki with whom he won the U20 World Championship in 2018.

Bamba said in a statement, "My main desire was not guided by the financial aspect but by the fact of finding my family circle and an attractive sports project. I am therefore delighted to be able to combine these two aspects in an optimal way to live a great adventure with the Racing 92 jersey.: the rugby project led by Stuart Lancaster is very attractive and I am delighted to find my family ties and my formative region. I am also proud to be an ambassador for the city of Saint-Denis."

Racing 92 president Laurent Travers said the club is proud to enrich its workforce with a French international player.
