Saracens have confirmed that England and British & Irish Lions hooker Jamie George has penned a long-term contract extension. The 29-year-old has played 226 times for his boyhood club since his debut in 2009 and has committed to the club until 2023.

Sale Sharks are poised to announce the blockbuster signing of England centre Manu Tuilagi this week in a major boost to their title hopes, according to the Daily Telegraph.

 

Tuilagi was released by Leicester along with four other players after a breakdown in contract talks, although the club’s hierarchy left the door open to strike a new deal Leicester confirmed on Friday that process had run its course, bringing to an end Tuilagi’s 11-year stay in the East Midlands.

Jeronimo de la Fuente heading to France

According to RugbyRama, Jeronimo de la Fuente will join PROD2 club Perpignan.

The centre is one of the many Jaguares players who have been allowed to leave the Super Rugby club with no action this year.

Kyle Godwin off to NSW

Former Connacht back, Kyle Godwin will join the Waratahs in 2021 in order to replace Karmichael Hunt.

Godwin is currently playing for the Western Force in Super Rugby AU but will link up with the Waratahs next year having left Connacht following the completion of his contract.
