Big blow for Carbery and Munster
- 2308
Munster and Ireland have received some bad news as it has been confirmed that live-wire flyhalf Joey Carbery has sustained an injury which will keep him on the sidelines for some time.
The 26 year-old fractured his elbow in Munster’s recent Champions Cup fixture against Wasps.
It is reported that Carbery will go under the knife on Thursday to correct the damage.
It is a significant blow to Munster as Carbery was showing positive form and flair in his game up until the injury. It now remains to be seen whether he will be fit in time for the 2022 Six Nations.
