“Now is the time to take everything we have been working on onto the field. We are going to find ourselves with an opponent that really knows what it wants to do, very well structured and organised, and we have to be strong in what we do, aiming to prevail in the set-pieces, in the short game."

“We did an exhaustive analysis and we know Japan's strengths. They have a very experienced front row, with many international matches behind them, who have evolved a lot in this formation. It will be imposing our way and not adapting to what they want to do.”

On the importance of scrum:

"The workload that we have been having since the beginning of the preparation is a lot. We have dedicated time and detail to it. From weekend to weekend we have been growing, both in the scrum and in other aspects of the game.

“The challenge is going to be there. We want to take another step and continue growing. Since the match with England, progress has been made, maybe not as much as some expected, but we are very clear about how we want to do it and the objective is going to be there.”

“It's going to be a lot in the details. They launch their game a lot from the scrum and we are going to have to be focused there. Discipline is going to be a factor.”

“I have been preparing the same as for every game. They were all like this one because they were all finals for us. I try to be calm, to study, to know the roles I have to play on the field. Be focused. To know that everything will turn out well tomorrow.”
