Andy Uren signs two-year contract extension

Bristol Rugby’s have continued their commitment to developing homegrown talent continues as Andy Uren commits his future to the club.

The Bristol-born scrum half – one of the most exciting prospects to emerge from the Bristol Rugby Academy in recent years – agrees a two-year extension.

A product of Keynsham RFC in the Combination, Uren has graduated through the ranks to make sixteen first team appearances, having been with the club since 13 years old.

“A key part of our vision is to see young, English-qualified players play for Bristol Rugby and represent their country. Andy’s decision to commit to the club is another example that he believes he is in the best place to continue that journey and progression,” said Head Coach Pat Lam

“Big credit to Mike Hall and the Academy staff for nurturing a young Bristolian through to this stage and we look forward to continuing his development towards his dreams.”

Uren became the third youngest person in Bristol’s history to represent the club in a competitive fixture when he came off the bench versus Gala in 2013.
