The retreating Force players are offside after a high bomb is launched by Smit, and are penalised. Smit converts the penalty to give his side the lead with just 7 minutes to go.

Cheetahs pressure eventually tells, as after a number of pick and gos close to the line they are awarded a penalty.

With 67 minutes gone the Cheetahs kick the ball to touch from a line out, getting them good territory. From the line out they spread it wide to Van der Walt who is stripped of the ball on his way over after great play from Alby Mathewson. The play comes back for a penalty and they tap and go, currently on the attack.

Force are getting in top now, playing most of the game in Cheetahs territory. A good carry from Mafi gets them there this time, where Robert Ebersohn is penalised for side entry. Hayward cant convert a relatively easy chance.
