Brilliant try

All over here and Ireland are deserved 6 point winners on a scoreline of 23-17. With New Zealand fancied by many to coast through the pool stage, this game was seen as a bit of a shoot-out for who could secure the second qualifying spot.

Briggs misses with a penalty chance but with only 30 seconds left it's unlikely to prove costly.

Ireland now inside the 22 of America. A score would finish the contest but they will be happy to even just see the game out here.

Into the last five minutes. No sign of a try coming for either side, both defences on top. America will need to make something happen soon.

As we head towards the last 10 minutes there's still only a converted try separating the two sides. Neither side really dominating the proceedings of late, hard to know how it's going to finish.
