The Sale Sharks take a 17-7 lead over the Northampton Saints into halftime. Sale opened the scoring with an early penalty and their dream start continued with a try just 5 minutes in to lead 10-0. Sale completely bossed the opening 20 minutes and had their second try to race out into a 17-0 lead. Saints needed a response and hit back shortly after with their first try to get on the board which sees them trail by ten points at the break.
