A strong finish by the Lions sees them edge the Jaguares 24-21 after they led 14-7 at the break. Two early second half tries in quick succession saw the Jaguares hit the front at 21-14. With just under ten minutes to play the Lions managed to cross for their third try to level things up at 21-21. Then with 3 minutes left on the clock the Lions were awarded a penalty which they slotted to sneak the victory.
