The Highlander's are right back in this! The Dunedin boys find themselves in the Reds twenty-two. After some quality phase play, Nonu takes the ball out wide and cuts back into traffic. He twists and turns and somehow finds the gap! We're in for an exciting finish!

Beautifully executed attack off the back of the lineout. The ball is flung out to Smith who pierces the Reds defence and links with Popoali'i. Popoali'i bolts down the right hand touchline before cutting back inside to beat the last defender. The tackle is good though and the winger is brought down a metre out. He pops the ball up to Gear who collects at pace and crashes over. The TMO is consulted but gives the go-ahead.

The scrum goes down once and is reset. The Highlander defence shuffles to cover Cooper on the blind-side. But Schatz splits from the rear and slips the ball to Genia on the openside. The cover defence is poor and Genia tears over untouched. Cooper converts.

Reds continue the second half as they finished the first. They've been camped in the Highlanders twenty-two for a large majority of the half, showing great patience as they inch towards the whitewash. They earn a scrum on the five...

Highlanders infringe at the ruck and are subsequently penalised. Cooper stretches the lead to eight points.

Gill fails to return to the field, after picking up an injury earlier on. Played a superb half though and was rewarded with a try.

Reds starting to emulate their title winning form of 2011. They've outplayed the Highlanders so far, but their indiscipline has kept the home team within five points. The score-line might not reflect the Reds dominance, but is certainly promising for the Highlanders, as they chase their first win. Slade to kick-off..

Hore rejoins his team after a promising period of attack. Emery again showing excellent footwork and attacking capability. They string together 13 phases and are within inches of the line, but Aaron Smith knocks on at the base of the ruck.
